2023 YOUTH FOOTBALL INFORMATION

First I need to let everyone know that we are behind the 8-ball compared to some of the other teams in our league as several have already started practicing. I like to give everyone as much time for their summer break and vacations as possible before starting. Now that being said once we start I will need every player in attendance as much as possible to get things rolling.
-PLEASE HAVE YOUR PLAYER BRING HIS OWN WATER AND MAKE SURE THEY HAVE ENOUGH.
- Reminder we are having Conditioning/Registration the next 2 Wednesdays, 7/12 @ 7/19. These days are not mandatory but highly recommended.
( I will have copies of the schedule or registration as well as registration forms. I will not have physical form copies)
-We can collect Fees, physical forms etc on conditioning nights.
- Mandatory Practices will begin 7/24 from 6-8pm at AHS Football field. We will practice every Monday, Tues, Wed, and Thur until school starts. Once school starts we will cut back to 3 days a week and shorten the times as well.
- We will be adjusting our practice location once we get rolling but for starters we will be at normal location.
- The week of 8/21 thru 8/24 there are a lot of things happening.
1) School starts the 23rd
( we will practice on Monday)
2) This is the week of our first game so I will need everyone there that can be there.
3) In reference to previous statement, all East and TPS students will be excused from practice on 8/21 due to school orientation. All Morrison students will be excused on 8/22 for their orientation.
However I would really like everyone who can come after their orientation to please try to make it even if your late.
We need all the time we can get to get ready.!!!
- ITEMS NEEDED FROM EACH PLAYER
BY THE PREVIEW:
1) Each player will need a “up to date physical” . Some Dr office will have the physical form but if not you can find it on the OHSAA website.
2) I will need a COPY of each players Birth Certificate (I should have them for all returning players)
3) All players new and returning will need to fill out a registration form as sometimes contact info and shirt sizes change.
4) The Fee to play is $50 per player, if families have more than one player the cost $25 for every player after first. (ex: two players in a family is $75)
- We will have a parents meeting soon after Practice begins to get some necessary info out as well as sign up info for home games.
As the days start going by you will start seeing informational post on here for lots of things. Please pay attention!!
